Golden Wedding Anniversary Celebrated This Month
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Blackburn of 607 North Taylor will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 17. They married in 1895 near Palmyra, Missouri and moved to Amarillo in 1897. They have one son Elmo, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Mr. Blackburn is 75 and Mrs. Blackburn 68. The necklace she wears came from Egypt via Raymond Whitaker.
