Bronze Monument Honors French Boy Meister
In Paris the Pasteur Institute dedicated a bronze statue to M. Joseph Meister, the first child Pasteur inoculated with rabies serum. The sculpture shows Meister as a farm boy grappling with a mad dog, commemorating the 45 year old event. Meister now lives in Paris.
