Norman Oklahoma January 12 A source close to the attorney general said a definite possibility exists that the University of Oklahoma will not admit any new law students next semester to avoid complying with a Supreme Court order to admit Ada Lionel Fisher a 23 year old Negro woman. The University and state officials refused comment pending a regents meeting with the attorney general. Fisher who was denied admission two years ago planned to enroll for the spring term beginning February 19 and was reported arriving from Providence Rhode Island to enroll. NAACP leader Roscoe Dunjee said she would enroll and another Negro student sought entry to the medical school may also apply.

Air Crash Kills Five Near Washington National Airport
An Eastern Airlines DC-3 from Houston to Boston crashed south of Washington on approach to National Airport. Five people died and four were injured. Pilot Paul Saltanis of Great Neck New York was among the dead. he had been in radio contact with the tower saying stand by as the aircraft vanished into a wooded area across the Potomac in Maryland.
