Billy Wayne Belles aged 1, son of Mr. and Mrs H Wayne Belles of Amarillo, died at 10 30 o clock in a Del Ray Beach Florida hospital. He was born June 28 1941 in Belleville Illinois and is survived by his parents a sister Polly Jane grandmothers Mrs Fannie Lee Belles and Mrs J D Ward both of Amarillo and great grandfather Grant Belles of Amarillo. O. J. Miller of Swisher County and Albert Huseman of Castro County pleaded guilty in 47th district court at Canyon to theft charges. A jury assessed three year suspended sentences for stealing farm equipment valued at more than $50.

American airmen ride home on unexploded bomb

Allied headquarters in North Africa reports two American airmen from a Gabes raid aboard a B26 Martin Marauder discovered a bomb had not dropped. Navigator Lieut.
