W A Brown painter and paperhanger sues Mrs Rozella Bush Young for 4460 dollars claiming she willfully assaulted him by biting his left upper arm. He says the bite caused blood poisoning and halted his work for 15 weeks. The incident occurred in view of Brown's friends.

Fatal slide devastates Mammoth Canyon communities
In Mammoth Canyon Idaho residents fled amid thawed snow as a slide struck Wednesday killing Mrs. T. J. Powell and her 5-year-old son Glenn and injuring seven others. Four houses were demolished and Mr Powell survived after being buried eight feet of debris for four hours. Coroner Dr. H. C. Mowery and Miss Lora Rasmussen were in the car when the debris struck.

In Brooklyn a cat named Tomasette bit a man his wife and two guests prompting police to chase the animal through a Betts home. Two radio cars failed to stop her before the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals agents were called in to capture Tomasette after a half hour pursuit.
