Bill Wallace remains in Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque. Mrs Wallace, from Albuquerque, described ongoing medical examination and treatment. The report notes Wallace’s extended hospital stay and related uncertain condition amid family statements.
The Supreme Court unanimously upholds the National Labor Relations Board power to withdraw recognition of alleged unfair unions and voids a district court injunction against picketing by the Butchers Union at E G Skinner Milwaukee. The decision applies the Norris LaGuardia Act to prohibit injunctions in labor disputes involving unions with no employees.
Federal investigators led by Reed Vetterll spread by air and rail to find about a dozen suspects in a spy ring that sought U S army and navy secrets for cash from a European power. The raid followed last week’s arrests of two soldiers and a red haired German woman. Destinations of the agents could not be learned.

Thieves stole a wheel from a police officer J. L. King who parked at 613 North Buchanan Street. They used a prop from the nearby Methodist Church to lift and remove the wheel after stealing bricks from the church.
Quito Ecuador February 28 authorities disclosed a revolutionary plot in support of former president Velasco Ibarra who was ousted in 1936. Several arrests were made including former congressman Mariano Veintimilla and Alfonso Eguiguren who served as police chief under Ebarra.

Gross debt stands at 632,120,451.8 and gold assets at 12,786,224,520.95 with an increase of 3,689,401.56 from the previous day.
