Channing Man Remains In Critical Condition
Clarence Woody of Channing sustained severe chest injuries and a broken leg after a car wreck near Tascosa Saturday night. He remained unconscious and in critical condition at Northwest Texas Hospital this morning as attendants reported brief moments of consciousness and limited reaction. The car’s driver, Co. F. Prancher, 713 B West Sixteenth, suffered a fractured jaw.

Two Men Held on Theft Charges in Auto Near Santa Fe Station
Francis C. Gerdis aged 36 and LeRoy Thomas aged 33 were jailed in Potter County on $1000 bond for theft under $50. Charged with stealing a woman's suit a Navy pea coat and other items from a car parked near the Santa Fe passenger station. Bond set at arraignment before County Judge E. O. Northcutt.
