P J Anthony, former teller, testifies checks from the one cent land revaluation fund were cashed for Robison’s relatives. He recalls $40 to $50 to Robert Robison and $200 to $250 to Mrs Robison. Another bank official recalls Robison saying expenses were heavy traveling. Fifteen people are hospitalized from two railroad crossing accidents.
Governor Henry S. Johnston faces a Senate court on charges of incompetency and corruption. He declares readiness for a lengthy trial and plans no active defense but will engage at the counsel table. The House managers decide to begin with the incompetency charge.
W S Izzard rounds up Amarillo municipal airport progress and future ambitions. The project adapts a 450 tract for a major Southwest air center with a 400 acre fenced landing field. Construction includes a 90 by 100 foot hangar foundation and water well while rail and highway links boost access.
In Paris the reparations conference began at 2 p m at the Hotel George V to resolve billions of German war debt arrangements. Owen D Young led the session with Emile Moreau opening the meeting and Parker Gilbert expected to testify on Germanys resources and ability to guarantee loan payments.
The body of Tom Ross, convicted with Milt Good for the 1921 Seminole Texas cattle inspectors murder, arrived in Lubbock and was taken to Lovington New Mexico for burial. He allegedly died by suicide in Canada after escaping Texas prison in 1925, and was linked to killings in Montana and Canada. his widow and daughter received the body.
In Los Angeles on February 11 the sentence for former district attorney Asa Keyes Ben Getzoff and Ed Rosenberg was delayed to Thursday due to the absence of Presiding Judge E H Butler. The men were convicted last week of conspiring to give and receive bribes and appeared in superior court today.

House Ways and Means continues tariff hearings while Senate immigration panel debates the national origins act. House Rules ponders a special rule to take up a bill extending the radio commission life for one year.
The Roman question ending after sixty years was settled as representatives of the Pope and the king of Italy signed treaties at the Lateran palace. Cardinal Gasparri signed with a gold mounted quill, and Premier Mussolini then used the pen. The full text will not be published yet.

Pan American Airways announced receipt of radio confirming Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh passed Tegucigalpa Honduras at 6 50 am EST today. He was reported aloft at 10 15 am local time aboard his transcontinental flight as air news circulated from Miami Florida February 11 by the Associated Press.
Los Angeles February 11 teenager Bobby Trout aged eighteen who would rather fly than wash dishes built a new endurance record for women aviators. She surpassed Elinor Smith's prior 15 hour 16 minute 45 second total by one hour with a 16 hour+ flight ending at 7:27:30 a m Pacific time. The record stands until another hour is added and was marked after equalling the prior pace at 6:27:50 a m. A school auditorium event titled Pair of Sixes is planned for February 12 with admission 50 cents for adults and two dimes for children.
President elect Herbert Hoover and Mrs Hoover visited Thomas Edison on his 82nd birthday at Seminole Lodge in Fort Myers Florida. Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone joined the party for a parade through town and a motor ride after greeting Edison. Edison answered newspaper questions in writing and joking declined one about medicinal lights.
Riverside California February 11 United Press Gordon Stewart Northcott nervous after a night fearing a mob would retrieve him from county jail to face execution for killing three boys. Armed deputies watched over him as Sheriff Clem Sweeters led security and awaited the court appearance. Winslow family mourns and seeks closure.
