Denton A Cappella Choir Appears Here Sunday
The Denton A Cappella Choir from North Texas State Teachers College, led by Dr. Wilfred C. Bain, will perform Sunday at 3 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The 40 member group, chosen from the student body, has made over 250 appearances in five states. Tickets are sold by Amarillo High School choir members and the Chorister.

First Christian Church Fellowship Dinner Tonight
A fellowship dinner will be held at 7 o clock tonight at the First Christian Church. Steak will be served. Judge Clayton Heare of the Court of Civil Appeals will be the principal speaker. A duet will be sung by H A Shaw and Wendell Henry, with other musical numbers by soldiers from Amarillo Army Air Field.

Seventeen Year Olds Sought For Air Cadet Training
Seventeen year old boys interested in Army aviation are invited to join the Air Cadet Training service with immediate openings. Capt. Joseph Flynt of the West Texas Recruiting and Induction Service in Lubbock announced the program. Boys are enlisted in the Air Corps Reserve but are not called to active duty under this plan.
