Oscar M. Shore a 58 year old Deaf Smith County stockman dies at home here after illness. Funeral services are set for 3 PM Thursday at Hereford Methodist Church with Rev. Willett officiating. Burial will follow in Hereford Cemetery. Mr and Mrs J F Donnell of 1711 Fillmore Street returned Tuesday night from Breckenridge where their son J P F Donnell Jr lies in a hospital with serious injuries from an accident last week. Their cousin Daws Fubank of Stephenville was killed near Albany and another young man was injured. Bob Donnell accompanied his parents.
Fifty passengers and crew were reported drowned when the launch Yungshun ran onto rocks near Pingwane while sailing from Huckow to Shanghai. Historians say the body of famed Portuguese explorer Cabrillo lies in an unidentified grave on a Santa Barbara Island off California.
