Present City Safe Driving Awards in Ceremony Tonight
Awards for a year of driving safely will be made tonight to 105 city employes who drive vehicles in the course of their work. Ceremonies will begin at 7:30 oclock in city barn. Capt. Polk Ivy of the highway patrol will speak briefly. City Manager N. V. Moss has invited all employes to attend.

Funeral services for W. A. Ratliff will be at 10 30 tomorrow in Blackburn Shaw Memorial Chapel with Dr E B Fincher officiating. Burial in Llano Cemetery. Ratliff, 73, formerly of Amarillo, died yesterday in Waxahachie after living there six months. He was a retired farmer and father of J F Ratliff Claude Ratliff two sons and five daughters including Mamie Johnson J H Odom Mrs J R Smith Mrs Al Dutherage and Mrs Aley Weatherford.

This week two Northwest Texas Hospital meetings are set at 5 30 PM. The planning board will meet with Amarillo architect Guy Carlander to review drawings for a 750000 building addition. The board of managers will then meet to wind up the year.
