Ira D. Diffee a 57 year old Borger man died early today in an Amarillo hospital from injuries from a Saturday night automobile crash on the north highway near Thompson Park. Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel with Rev. C E Buchanan officiating. Interment will be Llano Cemetery. Survivors include three sons Wadie D Diffee of Dumas Haskell Diffee of Amarillo and J E Diffee of the U S Navy San Francisco. one daughter Mrs Louise Wright.
The mother Mrs Lou Diffee of Sallisaw Oklahoma reports three brothers Elzy Diffee of Plainview Jeff and Will Diffee of Sallisaw and three sisters Mrs Ollie Sloan of Shawnee Oklahoma Mrs Othie Baranes and Mrs Laura Sumpter both of Sallisaw in a fragmented obituary snippet.
