In Austin on December 21 Judge Charles O Betts issued a permanent injunction against price fixing among milk firms in El Paso Fort Worth Dallas and imposed penalties totaling 75000. The judgment named Hawkins Dairy Prices Creameries and the Borden Company in El Paso and several affiliates in Fort Worth and Dallas. A separate judgment targeted the Borden Company for fixing ice cream retail prices in Texas. Attorneys for the defendants said they did not admit guilt but accepted penalties and waived appeal.
