J. T. Mc Enteggart of Hanson Post says more than 6000 toys will be given at the Legion Christmas party Friday night. Half from Kiwanians and half from the WPA toy shop directed by Trene Baker. The tree will be displayed on the Municipal Auditorium stage for inspection Friday. Thousands of pounds of candy fruit and nuts will be bagged for the event. Pampan resident in critical condition after Highway 60 crash
Loyd Earl Eldredge of Pampa was struck while crossing Highway 60 near Panhandle yesterday afternoon. He has a fractured left leg a compound fracture of the right leg and possible skull fracture. Pat Boone of Pampa drove the other car. Eldredge was taken to St. Anthony's Hospital by Boxwell Brothers ambulance after on scene first aid by motorists.
