Glowing Holiday Dress Trends For A Dual Season

Glance into the coming wardrobe as double season outfits appear in stores. Metallics suit evening wear while casual flecked fabrics suit daywear. Sheath silhouettes persist with lace overskirts, while lace and velvet pair with bold fabrics for a smart mid season look. The ingote color and paisley prints shape junior wardrobes.

Holiday fashions shift toward mid season sheer elegance

A fashion overview notes mid season attire including black crepe dresses with dramatic trims, jacket outfits paired with dresses, bare topped evening looks with cover jackets, and print dresses with dark jackets. Jewel and velvet touches, rhinestone bodices, and gold embroidery enhance day and evening wear while satin cottons and taffetas blaze in holiday color. A St Louis College poll finds women favor separates over 1920s slim skirts, preferring polite lady styles and street wear jackets for the season.
