GM Moves in Court to Halt CIO UAW Picketing in Cincinnati Area

General Motors filed in common pleas court in Cleveland to enjoin Local 45 of the United Automobile Workers over illegal picketing at Fisher Body Plant No. 1 in Cleveland. A presidential fact finding board was appointed to study the dispute, with GM and the union pledging cooperation as negotiations continue.
