Rayford Harris Held in Burma Prison Camp

Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Webster died Wednesday at 819 Alabama Street are postponed due to weather. Services will be held in Mobeetie at 3 o clock tomorrow afternoon under N S Griggs and Sons direction. Mrs. Webster was the wife of J R Webster.

Air Forces Band to Play Sunday Evening at 8

Concert-goers will be entertained by the First Army Air Forces Band Sunday evening at eight oclock in the Municipal Auditorium. The 25-member group will be directed by Chief Warrant Officer Guy L. Stone, longtime.

Bandmaster Leads Amarillo Concert Series

The bandmaster has conducted two similar series in Amarillo. The musicians are advanced players, not amateurs, with hours weekly of intensive rehearsal. Sunday night's program features 16 members performing Lincke's Glow Worm along with marches waltzes and novelty pieces. Patrons' Night at Amarillo College is postponed due to illness and holidays per acting president Ernest Shearer.
