The message came from her daughter Mrs. W G Wallace who lives in Honolulu while her husband serves as a warrant officer on the U S St Lois. Mrs. Wallace is the former Reba Harmon of Amarillo. Mr. Harmon left Sunday morning for a trip to Los Angeles to visit friends.
Willis H. Scott known as Holly Scott a Panhandle cowboy died after a long illness in a local hospital at age 83. He is survived by his wife two sons Charles C. Scott Amarillo and Robert Scott Springer New Mexico two daughters Ruth Oliver Oakdale California and Gertrude Butler Houston one brother J. G. Scott Tahoka and one sister Mrs Archie Reeder Port Worth. The body is in state at Blackburn Shaw with funeral services to be announced later.
