Sid ney Franklin the American bull fighter plans a ranch visit in Texas to punch cows in the noted Texas fashion. He bikes from Amarillo to New York then sails for Europe later this month for a 90 performance tour in Spain Portugal and North Africa. Franklin also pursued film work in The Kid from Spain and praises bull fighting as skillful when bulls are treated humanely.

Man in Gray Fiance Denies Wanderwell Slaying

In Los Angeles a 24 year old Welsh sailor William James Guy was found in a shack near the river bottoms and named as a suspect in the shooting death of Captain Walter Wanderwell aboard the yacht Carma at Long Beach. Eyewitnesses say Guy resembled the man who wore a gray suit and asked for Wanderwell before the death. Authorities report Wanderwell had disputes over money with his crew and the Carma, deemed unseaworthy, planned an around the world cruise allegedly set for this weekend.
