Golden Rule helps Weatherby rent duplex fast
Mr Weatherby learned the Golden Rule for want ads by listing an unfurnished four room duplex at 1301 West 13th Street. After three poor days, he revised the ad to tell all readers what he would want, then used a seven day bargain plan. Nine calls came overnight and the unit rented with a month’s rent in advance.

Douglass, chairman of Roosevelt board, outlined options including arbitration of infractions and a possible Echo terminal arrangement.
