Woman Slayer Fatally Shoots Rival After Legal Avenues
Edna Myers, 2208 Buchanan Street, shot Mae Stewart, 1013 West Fourth Street, claiming the woman ruined her home. The killing occurred before Myers, her husband Harry and son Robert 17, who had driven to the Stewart residence. Myers had sought legal help but said no aid came. She bought a 32 caliber pistol and six bullets, tested it with a solo shot, then fired twice at Stewart, one fatal.
