Discharged Ninth Army Veteran Allen Lax Returns Home
Allen Lax a Ninth Army veteran and corporal with the Second Infantry Division arrived home on discharge after twenty months in service. He drove a half track from Normandy to Berlin and is visiting his parents at 2008 Mirror. Born February 13 1920 he was called to service on an unlucky Friday in March 1942 and sailed home on a Friday in November.

The group will host a Christmas party at the Veterans Hospital for patients and distribute Gifts for Yanks Who Gave via boxes placed in downtown stores.
