John Jarvis, 16, drove a car at 70 miles an hour through Brooklyn smashing three porches and a tree before police caught him. Neighbors reported missing porches and no ownership proof. Jarvis remained jailed with no bail.

W W Weatherly 26 of Phillips received cuts and bruises and was treated and dismissed. different models 1939 and 1943 were involved. Investigating officers noted Garst was westbound in a 1939 sedan and Weatherly eastbound in a 1943 sedan.
