City Cancels Bond Contract With G M Dunne Associates
Amarillo voters cancelled the February contract with G M Dunne and associates due to alleged default. The deal would have funded $461 000 in funding bonds at 83.6 cents and $75 000 in Fisher County road bonds at par with $8 000 in each block. Only $325 000 of the funding bonds and $53 000 of the road bonds have been taken. An investigation by the Taxpayers' League followed the contract's terms becoming public.
