Negroes Beat, Rob Watchman Second Time in Eight Days
John Meyer a 60 year old night watchman was attacked by two colored men Sunday night and again eight days earlier. He suffered scalp wounds and a crushed hand and was found Monday by his employer Joe Siegel of Amarillo Junk Company at 308 Jackson Street. The assailants asked for money and Meyer said he had two cents. Meyer's injuries were treated at North Texas Hospital.
