Purse Lost Near Amarillo Plant Promises Reward
N A Moore of 807 North Buchanan Street reported a purse left on a car fender between the Amarillo Disposal Plant and town last Friday. The wallet contained five $100 bills a $10 bill a $5 bill and a Pantex Ordnance Plant check for $6 totaling over 500 dollars and funds saved to send his adopted child to school. Moore had been selling minnows by the stream when he set the purse down to change clothes then drove away forgetting it. The loss was reported to Amarillo police and a $100 reward is offered for its return.
