Thurston Carlisle a 22 year old parachute jumper from Giddings Texas attempted a night jump with Corsicana pilot Bill Stewart. His unopened parachute rope tangled with the plane for 45 minutes and Carlisle sustained numerous cuts and bruises after Stewart landed to avoid a crash.
