Members of the Amarillo Pilot Club enjoyed a picnic at 9703 Tyler Street hosted by civic committee members Mrs. Faye S Gordon Mrs. Florence Ames and Mrs. Mae Smith. The guest speaker was Nancy Lou McCollum district 8 Pilot International governor from San Antonio. Twenty five members attended with one guest.
Polk Street Methodist Co Workers Class elected new officers during a Monday gathering at 1661 Travis Street with Mrs. J H Cooper presiding. New president S E Ross and others were chosen. a church picnic is planned for Ellwood Park Wednesday with class members hosting. A new member, Mrs Gilbert White, was introduced.
