Queens Lodge 684 votes to join the Labor Day Parade in IQOOF Hall under President Mrs. D. E. Willi. Members will decorate parade corn in lodge colors. Carpenters union rep M. L. Winberg spoke on union labor and parade plans and invited all to a barbecue at Thompson Park. Social hour refreshments served by three ladies. 15 members attended. Next meeting set for Sept 5 at 2 PM in LOOF Hall.

Ellwood Park hosts a picnic and business meeting at 6 30. Amatillo Rebekah Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary meet in city venues.
