Police questioned a 19 year old youth after a burglary and safe cracking attempt at the Royal Crown Bottling Company on East Fifth. Officers found a broken window, knocked off safe handle, intact knob mechanism, and tools nearby. The same safe was attacked on Nov 30 last year.

Burke Baby Dies In Local Hospital
Leslie Grant Burke infant son of Mr and Mrs L G Burke died at Northwest Texas Hospital. Funeral services and burial were arranged with Boxwell Brothers. Survivors include the parents and three sisters Margaret Ann Mildred and Barbara Pay. The baby died last night with services set at Memorial Park Cemetery and Rev Jack Sisemore of Line Avenue Baptist Church to officiate. Waveside rites were scheduled.
