Four miles north of Canyon at 5 PM a two lane highway 8&7 section under construction saw a collision between a 1939 Ford sedan driven by Bray and a southbound gasoline truck driven by John Lee Marricle of Lubbock. Bray and two companions suffered minor injuries. Bray was moved to St. Anthony's Hospital.
