Lindbergh trained in Ford Motor Company aviation division.
Yale professor Irving Fisher told the Senate finance committee a tax on personal spending above a set exemption would fund financing needs. He suggested exempting saved income and reducing taxes on saved portions, arguing taxing savings would kill the goose that lays the golden egg.
