A long bridge Inncheon on the porch yields high scores for Miss Lillian Callaghan and generous guest favors, followed by a three course luncheon. A second bridge party honors Miss Jamie Schweizer and Miss Elma D Asberry with high and consolation prizes, then a two course luncheon. Mrs Hall hosts Hi Jinks members at a bridge morning with high score to Mrs Art Arnold and luncheon to finish the gathering.

Globe well at Shamrock shows oil but no producer yet
The Globe well at Shamrock had a third oil showing yesterday but sand was too thin to produce. The hole filled 80 feet with oil on initial strike and drilling remains in white lime above the first sand found by Jim Whittington. The well has yielded more showings and less oil than others in the Panhandle. Best No 1 at Shamrock drills in granite wash with a good oil showing.
