Lupher 59 Year Old Locomotive Engineer Dies
Funeral services for Mr Lupher a Santa Fe locomotive engineer for 35 years will be held Saturday. The third oldest Amarillo division engineer he came from Chanute Kan in 1906. Surviving are his wife two sons Alfred and BE Lupher and two daughters Jennie Sheppard and Mrs Clarence Hixson. Boxwell Brothers ambulance brought the remains here early today. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
