Foster Herbert W. Foster Dies at 65 in Amarillo Hospital
Herbert W. Foster died at 11 a m at St Anthony's Hospital after a six year illness begun with a stroke. A longtime Amarillo National Bank cattle inspector he moved to Amarillo in 1907 from Taylor Texas. He married Lelia Avery in 1916 and leaves a wife a son and two daughters deceased. Survived by three sisters and a nephew in California. Body in state at Blackburn Shaw Memorial Chapel with funeral plans pending.

Injured Worker Falls From Scaffold at Local Building
John Hooks of C. S. Lambie Construction fell eight feet from a scaffold into a brick pile at the Southwestern Bell Telephone Building at Ninth and Tyler.
