PLIERS PREPARE TO RETURN TO PARIS

Youth Found Badly Slashed in Phoenix Residence
Francis Fuqua, a 20 year old from Phoenix Arizona, was found with multiple knife slashes on his face and throat at a local residence. An ambulance rushed him to St Anthony's hospital where doctors believed he would live. He was unconscious when found and police were alerted. He had been working on a ranch near Wildorade and has a guardian at Claude.

Police ask to hold man for Arizona prison transfer
Amarillo police received a wire from Scott White superintendent of the Arizona state prison asking that Ed Summers alias Tom Campbell be held until a representative arrives. Summers is an escaped convict serving fifteen years for robbery in Arizona. Burglary charges were filed against Summers and three others, T Bone Stest, B Lighthouse and Jack Bruno alias Bill Cagle, for past month cafe robberies. Cagle is wanted in Wise County for a post office theft. Police expect further developments soon.
