Forest Hill School Most Likely Only Amarillo Unit To Run Half Days
Forest Hill School appears to be the sole Amarillo campus likely to operate on half-day shifts this fall. Superintendent Charles M. Rogers said rumors of a broader shift are unlikely, with Forest Hill projected to see enrollment more than double as trailer-camp surveys indicate heavy demand nearby. The Senior High building could add 200 more students, but overall high school enrollment may stay flat or dip slightly.
