FDR Sails Toward Panama for Canal Events

President Roosevelt travels aboard the Houston toward Balboa to meet Panama and canal zone officials, U. S. officers, and about 50 canal builders. Attending dignitaries include Panamanian leaders Arias and Arosemena, Minister Cor rigan, and canal governor Ric. Notables include Major General Stone and Admirals Vernon and Williams. The Houston stops at Balboa overnight before resuming around 10:30 AM Friday.
