Thomsons Gunshot Incident Causes Critical Injury
Tom F Thomson remained in critical condition after a gunshot wound to the right side from what authorities call an accidental discharge of a .45 pistol. He underwent surgery but the bullet was not removed as he was treated at a Peoria hospital after the 5:15 PM police call. His wife Thelma Thomson and Mrs Minnie Pruitt said the pistol fired accidentally when it struck the floor as it was dropped at the latter’s home at 402 North Lincoln Street. The Thomsons live at 305 North Grant Street.
