Ama rillo reports Dr M W Cunningham one of the happiest men as charter member of Central Presbyterian Church since its 1890 organization. He helped place the cornerstone of the new church at Eleventh and Harrison streets.

Henry R. Airheart 79, longtime Justice of the Peace for precinct 1 place 2, died at his daughter's home on Sunday after a three week illness. He earned the nickname Amarillo's marrying justice for officiating hundreds of marriages. Funeral at Griggs chapel with Rev. Virgil Fisher and Rev. G. H. Bryant officiating. burial in Llano Cemetery. Survived by his widow and four daughters and two sons.

Pioneer Edward Guleke Dies After Infection Follows Wound

Edward Guleke born March 1, 1861 in Rockland County New York died in Nanuet on a Sunday morning from an infection that followed an accidental scalp wound. He lived in Amarillo for years and later in New York, survived by daughter Martha Gulerie Hansen and son James O. Guleke, with several siblings listed. The body will be returned to Amarillo for burial in Llano Cemetery. funeral arrangements to be announced.

In Fort Worth on August 2, two brothers M Turner and Y Turner ages 38 and 43 admitted to robbing the Haslet State Bank at 9 45 am taking 1800. They said they lived in Dallas and had spent Sunday night in Fort Worth. Deputies recovered all the loot and returned it to the bank. The pair said they were desperate for money and chose the bank robbery over harming individuals.
