A low altitude nose dive at Bristow airport late Sunday left three injured. Pilot and instructor Jack Huff suffered facial and hand cuts while passenger Leon Conger, 21, broke both ankles and internal injuries, and Gilbert Clover, 23, broke an ankle.
Roswell New Mexico April 30 Establishment of an air mail route from Indianapolis to El Paso via Amarillo and Roswell has been discussed with the postmaster general and western lawmakers. The line would run Indianapolis Maroon St Louis Springfield Mo Tulsa Enid Amarillo Roswell to El Paso with postmasters along the route optimistic it will become a reality.
Sheriff Percy M. McMahan and two deputies faced four bandits who entered the Boonville county courthouse at midnight. The men forced the officers to surrender weapons and about $200 in cash plus a gold watch, then fled. A large quantity of nitroglycerine was found around the safe prior to the intrusion.
Earthquake shocks lash the Isthmus of Corinth injuring people and destroying about a hundred houses at Kiato thirteen miles from Corinth on the Patras railway. Several houses fall at Nemea and the tremors are felt as far as Athens with relief operations set up in Corinth.

The Spirit of St. Louis, piloted by Col. Charles A. Lindbergh, lifted from Lambert Field at 9 a.m. destined for Washington to be donated to the Smithsonian Institution. The historic solo flyer aims this final flight toward its new home after the Atlantic crossing less than a year ago.
In Berwyn near Chicago, two masked bandits killed 1 year old Pearl Begerson and wounded usherette Miss Eggerson during a theater robbery. They took $1,600 from the Ritz cashier, fired toward the crowd, and fled in a New York-registered car with a companion waiting outside. Police describe the suspects as about 27, of medium height.
Ten years after World War I, Baron Von Huenefeld Major Fitzmaurice and Captain Koehl led a celebratory procession through Manhattan. Thousands cheered as US German and Irish flags flew while a Mitchell Field escort circled overhead. Fire boats saluted and the German steamer Deutschland docked nearby as Koehl waved from the German ship.

A 62 year old butcher Severana Rodriquez confessed Sunday to police that he is the phantom Jack the Slasher who has terrorized Los Angeles women for years. He admitted slashing the dresses of more than thirty women and causing injuries in several cases. He was arrested Saturday night while attempting to cut a woman's dress in the downtown district. Police will examine his mentality.
California primary race looms as Smith Walsh and Reed vie for the Democratic nomination in a contest seen as pivotal for McAdoo. Charles L. Nevieus Jr., two year old son of Mr and Mrs Charles J L Nevieus of Borger, died at home from injuries from a Sunday car crash. The funeral is set for 4 PM Tuesday at Griggs Funeral Chapel with Rev. Oran Carter officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. The father works as a driller for Skelly Oil in Borger.
Blind Ada singer John KR Osborn loses his Buick truck, a mobile home and transport, when a man he gave a lift to steals the car between Amarillo and Panhandle. Deputies Morris and Hester chase through nine counties, catch the suspect near Turkeyville Archer county, and return the vehicle to Amarillo within 36 hours. Osborn praises the sheriff and deputies for the quick recovery.
