McLean Panhandle Town Grows Near Internment Camp
McLean Gray County thrives as a growing city with 72 blocks of paving, gas and water systems, a four acre park, a large high school and a huge internment camp planned two miles northeast. Commander Col. N. Fiske leads the camp while Mayor Boyd Meador and local businessmen push progress and tourism on U.S. Highway 66.
