Two Burned in Fiery Crash at Crossing Near Amarillo
A late night crash at the Pullman Switch crossing east of Amarillo involving a butane truck and a Fort Worth Denver train left E H Davis of Arlington critically burned and engineer J W Roush of Canyon Road burned about the hands and face. The butane tank exploded and ignited a nearby Pullman Fuel Association building while Amarillo firefighters and Boxwell Brothers ambulances responded. Davis remains in critical condition at St Anthony's Hospital. Roush is reported resting well. Witnesses say the truck and train arrived at the crossing nearly together.
