Fort Worth reports that FHA has received applications for 1000 rental units in Amarillo and expects to start construction soon. About 800 units may be approved now with reviews at 30 day intervals to avoid over-building. Some builders prefer FHA 203 plans with no rent ceiling though fewer units may be formed.
