Man Held Here on Murder Charge Taken To Mental Hospital

Deputy Sheriff takes John Walker Twyman to a Kansas mental hospital after he was declared criminally insane in Potter County. Twyman had been jailed since March 24 on murder charges for the Fowler killing at Morrow-Thomas Hardware. The grand jury ordered commitment to Topeka Hospital following evidence of insanity and prior escape.
