Enemy Aliens Sent to Texas
A train carrying 525 Axis aliens en route from South America to an undisclosed internment camp in Texas was reported today. I. F. Wixon denied that South American Axis diplomats were aboard. the Etolin bore the word diplomatic in large letters. Destined aliens were German Japanese and Italian, captured in Ecuador Peru and Bolivia. The report also notes Marine Corps band conductors, including John Philip Sousa.
