Hereford Man Dies In Wreck
Clyde A. Montgomery of Hereford, 35, was killed in a single vehicle crash six miles north of Clovis on the Grady highway around 2:30 AM. Alma Wallace, 31, also from Hereford, sustained non serious injuries to a hand and knee. Jimmie Clark of the New Mexico state highway patrol described Montgomery’s car leaving the road, overturning twice, and landing in a field. Montgomery died en route to the hospital. his body was taken to Steed Funeral Home in Clovis.
