Judge Hal C. Randolph, 70, associate justice of the Court of Civil Appeals, veteran Texas jurist and West Texas pioneer, died at St. Anthony's hospital after a brief illness. He lived in Plainview and Amarillo over 30 years and will be buried in Liano Cemetery. Funeral at First Christian Church with Dr. Roy Snodgrass officiating. Survived by widow, two sons Peyton and Nowlin, and sister Lula. son Peyton arrived from Plainview to be with him. He served on the Amarillo Court of Civil Appeals since 1923, previously on the Commission of Appeals, born Austin 1861, graduate of University of Texas Law in 1885, longtime Democrat and Mason.
