Man Suffers Broken Leg When Truck Turns Over
L. M. Campbell suffered a broken leg when the truck he was driving turned over on the north pavement about 11 o'clock this morning. The break occurred just below his right knee. Accompanied by his wife and 17 year old son, he was traveling from Lelia Lake to their home in Walsenburg, Colorado. The accident happened about five miles north of Amarillo. Campbell was rushed to town for X ray examination.

Woman Held Man Under Bail Following Family Melee
In Houston on April 15 Mrs. T. A. Partlow was jailed on assault to murder charges while C. E. Clark, free on bail, faced aggravated assault after a family brawl. A revolver axe and fists were used as the two families from adjoining apartments fought over porch light. Both Mr. and Mrs. Clark sustained severe head wounds when Mrs. Partlow wielded the axe.
