Youths In Fight Charged In Amarillo Court

Charges filed in Corporation Court accuse twelve Amarillo youths of disturbance of the peace after a gang fight Saturday night at 122 West Sixth. One boy was seriously injured and held at Northwest Texas Hospital. The incident followed a similar clash near Amarillo High School the previous evening. none had been arrested earlier today.

Stassen Bashes Taft's Prestige in Nebraska Primary

Harold Stassen swept Nebraska's GOP primary to top the field, boosting his lead over Dewey and tarnishing Taft's standing. Dewey carried Wisconsin, while Taft and other candidates trailed in the crowded race. Downs Mystery Deepens As Sheriff Tracks Absent Hunter
